Viewers are taken on a journey of discovery into the African bushveld, along the waterways of an African river and into the heart of the desert with local guides in each area. The series consists of 39 episodes, 26 minute each.

Thirteen Bushveld Safari, 13 River Safari and 13 Desert Safari were commissioned by Granada International and ETV. Granada International is one of Europe’s leading commercial, production and distribution companies. The award winning Foster brothers lent their phenomenal creative talents to the project.
